Coach Bruce has been coaching cross-country for over fifteen years. In 1995, he took over the role of head boys cross-country coach, where he led the boys team to a tenth place finish at the state meet. Many athletes that Coach Bruce has worked with have finished high in the conference, regional and state competition. Coach Bruce is truly a student of the event, as he is constantly striving to increase his knowledge of long distance running. Coach Bruce himself was a varsity award winner in cross-country and track while in college and is an outstanding educator that teaches regular and advanced placement economics at Fremd High School.

Coach Sanchez volunteers his spare time during the week to work with our team. This is Coach Sanchez's second year teaching biology at Fremd High School. He was a member of his high schools state champion 1600m relay team and is the 400m record holder at his high school. Coach Sanchez also ran on the University of Wisconsin's Track & Field team. Although Coach Sanchez is pretty new to Fremd he has coached track and cross country at a number of high schools (Union Grove, Wisc., Monona Grove, Wisc., & McFarland H. S., Wisc.) before coming to Fremd High School. He brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our program.
